PTFE can be used in a wide range of temperatures. It can be used for a long time at - 180 ℃~250 ℃ under normal pressure. After being treated at 250 ℃ for 1000h, its mechanical properties change little. PTFE has a very low friction coefficient, which is a good antifriction and self-lubricating material. Its static friction coefficient is less than the dynamic friction coefficient, so it has the advantages of small starting resistance and smooth operation when used to make bearings.

What are the applications of PTFE pipes in engineering? Many people who are new to this field do not understand the content of this field, and it is wrong to think that the tetrafluoroethylene tube does not play a role in the project.


1. All prefabrication work is carried out at the bridge head and pushed up to the bridge position one by one, without heavy lifting and long-distance transportation;

It is not necessary to set scaffolding in the bridge opening to avoid the impact of water flow and traffic to the bridge; Temporary steel piers must be added only when the span of a multi span bridge exceeds 60 meters. Only large holes cross rivers or valleys. Although their span is 100 or tens of meters, temporary docks cannot be set in large holes;

three teflon The friction coefficient of the pipe is very small, so the bridge weighing 10000 tons only needs hundreds of tons of thrust. Therefore, the thrust equipment is relatively simple. Although there are losses, the total construction cost is very low;

4. The construction period is generally not affected by flood, drift ice and other seasons, and the construction progress is easy to grasp. The overall progress can also be determined by the fact that the prefabrication site at the bridge head is too small. For a long time, the construction progress can be greatly accelerated.
