1. Purpose:

PTFE plate is applicable to gaskets, seals and lubricating materials that work in various corrosive media at the temperature of - 180 ° C-250 * C. It can also be made into electrical insulation parts used at various frequencies.

2. Appearance:

(1) The color of the board is the natural color of the resin.

(2) The texture shall be uniform, the surface shall be smooth, and no crack, bubble, delamination, mechanical damage, knife mark and other defects are allowed.

(3) Slight cloud like elasticity is allowed.

(4) On the area of 10x10cm2, a non-metallic impurity with a diameter of 0.1-0.5mm is not allowed, and a non-metallic impurity with a diameter of 0.5-2mm is not allowed.

The fineness distribution range of PTFE fiber is wide, the fiber strength is 1.37cN/dtex, the melting point is about 327 ° C, the specified oxygen index cannot exceed 95%, the friction coefficient is about 0.2, and the water contact angle of the fiber is about 120 °. At present, it is mainly used in the following aspects.

(1) Application in filter materials

The bag filter developed with PTFE short fiber has excellent temperature resistance and strong acid and alkali resistance. Therefore, it can be used as a filter for high temperature and humidity dust and corrosion resistant gas. It has good characteristics of low friction, smooth surface, easy dust removal, and low running resistance. It has good flame retardancy, insulation and heat insulation, and long service life. PTFE filament is made by twisting, twisting and knitting PTFE fiber mesh and composite sulfonic acid resin. It is made of ion exchange membrane, and composite sulfonic acid resin is the key element of chlor alkali project. PTFE fiber and microporous membrane also have great potential in water treatment, especially for difficult problems, such as treatment of leachate in mercerizing wastewater and printing and dyeing wastewater

(2) Application in aerospace and personal protection

The spacesuit is usually composed of underwear, ventilation layer, thermal insulation layer, air tight limit layer, water-cooled clothing, thermal insulation clothing and tear resistant layer. The limiting layer is made of polyamide fiber, polytetrafluoroethylene fiber or aromatic polyamide fiber. The main materials of tear resistant layer are synthetic fibers, such as aramid and PTFE fiber fabrics.

(3) Application in architecture

Polytetrafluoroethylene woven fabric is used as the basic fabric, and the surface is compounded with the polytetrafluoroethylene membrane to prepare the membrane material. It has good light transmittance, can reduce the cost of lighting and air conditioning, has good aging resistance, and low friction coefficient. The construction period of the roof can be shortened by 50%. It is light in weight, earthquake resistant, nonflammable, and has great design freedom. Therefore, it can be used as roof material for outdoor stadiums, arenas, gymnasiums, skating rinks, swimming pools, large exhibitions, etc

(4) Application in the field of self lubrication

The friction coefficient of PTFE fiber is very low. It is made of fabric self-lubricating pad by weaving and dipping in phenolic resin, epoxy resin and other resins. During heavy load wear, a polytetrafluoroethylene transfer film will be formed between the contact surfaces of the inner ring and the outer ring of the spherical sliding bearing, thus significantly reducing the friction coefficient between the inner ring and the outer ring of the bearing and extending the service life of the bearing. Lubricate the spherical plain bearing. The sliding bearing containing PTFE fiber or fabric is free of lubrication, durable and adaptable to the environment. They are widely used in heavy, maintenance free, small and light industrial fields. Teflon fiber bearings are used in food processing machinery to ensure food hygiene and largely eliminate lubricant pollution.
