1. When a specific compressive stress is exceeded, the gasket will produce "cold flow" (creep) and be crushed. We can overcome these problems by adding appropriate materials and improving the structure of parts.

2. Low thermal conductivity, poor thermal conductivity, not only can not be used as a load-bearing material, but also can not be quenched when manufacturing thick wall products.

3. The viscosity of the melt is very high, and it will not flow at high temperature. When it is higher than the melting point (327), the melt viscosity reaches 1010 pa.s, and will not flow even when heated to differential temperature. It is not possible to use the general thermoplastic forming method, but to use a sintering method similar to powder metallurgy.

4. The linear expansion coefficient of PTFE is 10-20 times that of steel, which is larger than that of most plastics. In the application of polytetrafluoroethylene, if we do not pay enough attention to this aspect of performance, it is easy to cause losses.

5. When the temperature exceeds 400 ℃, the cracking speed of PTFE will be accelerated, and the main distinguishing products are tetrafluoroethylene, perfluoropropyl and octafluorocyclobutane. Over 475, the differentiation product contains a small amount of highly toxic perfluoroisobutylene. Therefore, it should be noted that the heating temperature of PTFE gasket should not exceed 400 degrees, and the laboratory should have a good ventilation system to exhaust toxic gases.

6. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) negative film has excellent non stick performance, which limits its industrial application. It is a good anti sticking material, which is difficult to bond with the surface of other objects.

7. In order to ensure that all bearings of PTFE plate can be easily replaced during use, it is necessary to make a good connection at the beginning of the bottom frame. The bottom frame of the entire PTFE sheet production will have more steel slots. This can improve a series of moisture resistance. At the same time, this method can also be used to improve the seismic performance.
